Is My Sin Too Big For God To Forgive?

Come as you are to the cross of Jesus Christ. His perfect blood sacrifice on the cross was the payment for the sins of mankind for the past, present, and future. No sin is too big for God to forgive; otherwise, Christ died in vain.

Christ Paid the Price For Us
"We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him [Jesus] the iniquity of us all."
Isaiah 53:6 NIV

Transgressions Removed
"For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. As a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion on those who fear him."
Psalm 103:11-13 NIV

Jesus' Blood Purifies
". . . the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin."
1 John 1:7 NIV

Redemption Through Jesus' Blood
"In him [Jesus] we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins . . . ."
Ephesians 1:7 NIV

Saul (Paul) in the New Testament had been persecuting those who believed in Jesus. Saul (Paul) is introduced in Acts 7:58, where he was approving of the stoning death of Stephen, the first to give his life for the gospel. Prior to Saul's conversion, we are reminded in Acts 9:1 that "Saul was still breathing out murderous threats against the Lord's disciples." What greater sin can one be involved in than murdering Christians? Saul, who was also called Paul, was confronted on his journey to Damascus by Jesus Himself. Paul repented, accepted Christ, got baptized, and learned the doctrines of Jesus Christ. Paul chose to follow Christ and became one of the most dynamic preachers and writers of the New Testament through his missionary journeys and letters to the various churches. If God can use Paul, who was murdering Christians, to reach many people for Christ, He can certainly use you.

Give your life to Christ today. Place your faith and trust in Him alone. Then pray for God to reveal His will for your life. You have special gifts that God has given to you to use for His Kingdom. Don't delay. There are people out there that only you can reach. Remember, God is real; God loves you; and God can use you!
