Will the World As We Know It Today End?

Thanks for the question Harry T.

According to God's Holy Word as captured in His Holy Bible, the answer is YES. The world will end as we know it today. Let's review.

Earth Destroyed By Fire
"The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare."
2 Peter 3:10

New Creation
"Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea."
Revelation 21:1

No More Night, No Need for the Sun
"There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the LORD God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever."
Revelation 22:5

We can even go back to the Old Testament to find references to the end of the world as we know it.

New Heavens and a New Earth
"Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind."
Isaiah 65:17

Reading these scripture passages give me great joy in knowing that we have such a good and glorious heavenly Father that He plans to bless us beyond anything we could ever imagine. It will be such a blessing that we will not even remember this old world we live in today. It will truly be a paradise beyond all paradises.

Paradise
"Jesus answered him, 'I tell you the truth, today you will be with Me in paradise.'"
Luke 23:43

Repent and accept Jesus Christ today as your personal Savior and LORD. God loves you so much that He gave His only Son up for you. Would you give up your child for someone else's life? Think about it. That's how much God loves you. Having His only Son sacrificed for you is all He can do. The choice is yours. I pray that you would choose Jesus and eternal life in paradise with Him forever. Amen.

Repent and Accept Christ
"The LORD is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance."
2 Peter 3:9
